Special teams are not that special
Once again the special teams play has let this team down . They freakin suck , and that is all there is to it .
This game is not that significant in the larger scheme of things , but omg , why can we not fix the special team blunders ? Jeff Reed has got to find a new team ! He can not even reach the endzone on a kick-off , and that is hurtfull to our team . What is 3 points compared to 6 on kick-off returns . We are still the champions i know . Something has got to be done with our special teams play , and i mean now . To myself , this was a plain downright special teams breakdown loss once again . It,s not too late to fix it now , but it is not too soon either ! Special teams SUCK !!!!!!!!! |

Reed's kickoff's are terrible, the average starting position for teams is about the 31 yd line. He can't kick them deeper than that 10-15 yd line for whatever reason.
The kick off coverage is terrible, 3 KO's returned for TD's in half a season is pathetic. DSep is doing well atleast and the punt coverage units aren't quite as bad, but still in general this unit was the difference today in a close game. |

I think I would honestly bring Petr Czech back. His kickoff hit the endzone and although I have no stats, I think he was good with field goals. If they don't want to get rid of Reed cut Carey Davis, we wouldn't be the only team to have a kickoff specialist.

As i said earlier, D Sep needs to start practicing kickoffs in practice and start kicking off.

I never thought it would be possible but they are worse than last year. I was so excited before the season thinking we would be way better with D-Sep and Logan.

Yeah Spec. teams was horrible but what about the offense in the redzone all day and not punch it in once. I blame the lose on the offense.
