Sweet! Now we just need to pray for no injuries to him this week, so he can improve on his 1-0 record against the Jaguars!
Cowher still leaving us hanging a little bit, but we know Ben will be on the field Monday night!"The bottom line is making sure he's comfortable and can protect himself, and he's not going out there thinking about those things," Cowher said. "Getting [medical] clearance, going through the workload and seeing how his body responds to that ... the kid's been through a lot. I want to make sure he's comfortable and he feels good about himself."

Ben will be 100% and ready to dissect that secondary.
I don't think Ben should start so soon. I mean, it's great that he is able to recover so fast, but I think it would be best to wait another week and not rush him onto the field. Give him a chance to not only fully recover from the appendectomy, but also get back up to his normal weight/shape. Charlie will be fine for another week. I say bring back Ben next week, against Cincinnati.
You do have a good point there, SF87. Ben needs to be healthy and ready for a brawl against Cintucky. I hope we whip their asses up.
f'k that, batch can't beat the jags....we need ben....and if he's ready no point in letting him get rusty....play him so we can win......btw good to here he's cleared to play
