I just think the guy never lived up to his expectations. Everytime we turned around he was griping about not getting the ball, or he was dropping easy passes and sure TD's, getting knocked down by a stiff breeze, letting a small DB tackle him in the open field who had no business bringing down a guy of his size and strength. He made some good plays for us and had some memorable games but overall he never lived up to what we all hoped he'd be for us.

Washington is looking like he could be the replacement for ARE as a receiver. He already matched ARE's TD production from last year in his first game of the season. The Steelers also showed that Washington will be involved in the reverse play because, if my memory servers me well, Washington ran the revers twice against Miami. I want to se how good his arm is now

Plax was good and did a lot for the Steelers but when it comes down to it, he didn't quite fit the profile of a Steeler and didn't deserve to wear the Black N Gold.

    Isn't plexiglass really strong?

I wouldn't call him that. How many times did you see him actually go up and take the ball away from a defender? Not many. He made some big plays for us but he never seemed like he wanted the ball when he was challenged for it.

The guy is big and strong but he never used that to his full potential in the open field. The only time he did the jump ball thing was in the endzone, ever time they tried it along the sidelines he'd drop the ball or it would be intercepted, or he couldnt get those big clod hopper feet to stay inbounds.

I love what Nate Washington is bringing to the team. I remember him at training camp 2 years ago he did pretty well. Can't wait to see what else he brings to the squad.

*Side note post 400! * lol
