IMO Kreider needs to be kept regardless of who gets let go, he needs to be an integral part of the O, if only to be an extra lineman in the backfield.

Thanks to BR7 for the sig

Kreider is a no-brainer!! Gotta stay.
Haynes is beat. Wilson needs to wake up.
REID: WTF you don't field a punt on your five! FOR THAT VERY REASON!
Santonio I have guarded enthusiasm for.
Did I hear that Faneca is concerned about staying healthy for his next team, next year?????

I just got a text message from KDKA. The Steelers have cut Barlow, Barr, Hughes, Sheldon, Croom, Raiola, and Retkofsky.

PITTSBURGH — The Steelers released 10 players today, including three rookies and one seven-year veteran, as they trimmed their roster to 75 players.

Seventh-year running back Kevan Barlow was released after being signed by the team earlier this year. Among the rookies released were wide receiver Eric Fowler, defensive end Derrick Jones and long snapper Jared Retkofsky.

The Steelers also released second-year running back Larry Croom and five first-year players, including punter Mike Barr, kicker Connor Hughes, linebacker Richard Koonce, center Donovan Raiola and wide receiver Dan Sheldon.

NFL teams must trim their rosters to 53 players by 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1. Teams may sign up to eight players to their practice squad after noon on Sunday, Sept. 2.
No surprises here, the first round is usually pretty uneventful as far as notable players go. Barlow didn't do anything for us and from what we saw his attitude sucked so no big loss there.

Thats the thing with Nate he always makes the great/highlight catch...Its the simple catch he struggles with at times....He is going to make this team....I personally think he is the third best WR on this team even if he starts out as the 4th WR...I have a feeling Wilson will be third...I hope note but thats my gut feeling....
