I watched it on TV and those guys was sweating their asses off...Temp was 102 with an Index if 110.
Those guys have to walk also, why don't they just ride a cart.

Tradition is why they don't ride carts. Same reason they also don't wear shorts regardless of how hot it gets.
I just figured it was because they don't won't the Carts to damage or interfer with the Coarse.....
