Okobi Injured

Chukky Okobi, competing at center with former Tampa Bay lineman Sean Mahan, dropped to the turf in pain with an apparent back injury several minutes after Roethlisberger did. The team did not say if Okobi was injured.

''He went down with a lot of pain and discomfort but I don't expect anything long term,'' Tomlin said.

Anybody have any more information about Okobi????

The Associated Press reports Pittsburgh Steelers C Chukky Okobi (back) left practice early because of a back injury. Head coach Mike Tomlin said the injury does not appear to a long-term injury.

does not appear to be "Long Term"??? What does that mean, is it serious enough for him to miss significant time? Spill it Mike!!!

Ya they don't give alot of info to the extent of his injury.

Center Chukky Okobi, who had been running with the first team until yesterday, left the afternoon practice after injuring his right side. Ironically, it occured on the same day that Sean Mahan played with the starters for the first time in training camp.
"I don't know exactly what happened. He went down. There was a lot of pain and discomfort, but I don't think it's anything long term," Tomlin said.

maybe he was just hurt from Mahan playing with the 1st team.....lol
I know that they are paying Mahan alot of ducks to just be sitting on the bench and not working tith 1st team
