Wasn't Najeh a Conditional Pick?

Isn't sometimes the trade activated based on performance, sometimes it is based on being active on opening day, sometimes it is based on sticking on the roster for all 16 games.

I kinda doubt that the FO would have made the move for Davenport if they knew it would cost them a draft pick for Cobbs, I think the pick was "conditional", the Steelers don't owe the Pats anything.

Yep he was just brought in off the FA market to help bolster the RB position as far as depth goes. Still puzzles me how we relase Kuhn, bring in Cobb, only to then release Chidi for Davenport; the whole sequence is a bit odd but hopefully it works out to our benefit and Davenport can contribute.

I believe the only pick the Steelers lost was the one they gave to NE for Cobbs, if I'm not mistaken.

The FO is definitely throwing all us a curve ball lately
