    Where have the rookies gone!!

Does anyone have any info about how some of our rookies are doing!!! Besides Woodley, Timmons and D-Sep... i havent heard JACK about most of our other rookies. I was really interested in a few guys, namely : William Gay-CB, Gary Russell-RB, Ryan McBean-DT Jason Capizzi-OT and Dallas Baker-WR!!! Living in Pittsburgh i read every local sports section daily, but i havent heard anything about the afore mentioned playersand how they are doing in camp... anyone have any insight???

There have been a few camp topics posted here about Capizzi holding his own and Russell doing well with his blitz pick up blocking but other than that, nothing on Gay, Mcbean or Baker that I've seen.
Sometimes no news is good news.

Woodley is fitting in nicely and Timmons is still nursing a groin injury.

As expected, you'll only hear about the bigger name rookies during camp ... but once pre-season action starts, you'll get to see some of the other names in action.

I mean im on the site daily, reading all the local sports and im suprised there hasnt been more. It is good to hear about Willie Reid, a guy that we really dont know much about as a steeler... yeah i think we all knew that Woodley, Timmons, Spaeth and D-sep would be getting most of the "pub". But i really thought we would be hearing more about guys like Russell, beacuse with the situation Hanyes is in, Najeh holding the 2nd spot in his 2nd season with us, we really dont have proven talent after the #2 spot!!! i guess im just not being patient enough... we should get a good look at all of these guys come sunday night!!!

I agree with Steel Cities Finest. Wait till Sunday and well see alot. I have been hearing alot about Cappizzi. But your right nothing on Baker. A whole shiat load about Woodley which I think is great. I love preseason games cause you get to check out rookis and see how the future looks. Also because alot of guys are trying to get a job youll see great plays and hard hits some of the bes natural football of the year
