    Polamalu Missing Tackles?

We have talked about this leading up the regular season but we all kind of just put it by the waist-side. Now here we are halftime of the opening game and Troy's stats read as 2 tackles and 4 assists.

My question though is, why is he missing so many tackles? I've counted three so far with one of them being the Ronnie Brown TD! Troy had him in the backfield and Brown ran right through him!

This isn't typical of Troy to be missing tackles, hopefully he can get things turned around in the second half!

Because he is going full speed and out of control. If he hits the guy he kills them. But he has been known to miss too. Which he did tonight. Ike missed one too. And not to mention that damn special team.

Overall the second half was 10 times better!!! There were a few things here and there but definitely looked better. Especially Troy, I think the INT made me forget what we were even saying about him!

I take back what I've said about the Defense, tonight, they showed up brilliantly at clutch time.

The D won that game for us. But they were still missing some tackles in the second half. I wasn't impressed with Ike's tackling this game at all.

I think the defense went to sleep in the 3rd quarter and didnt wake up till about 10 minutes to go in the 4th. They came through when they had too but they were definately missing some tackles all night long. Ike played Chambers great for the most part but yeah towards the end he got bit on some plays and didnt recover well at all.
