    Should the Steelers keep Staley?

AZ thought a poll was needed for this so figured I'd make one up.

Do you think the Steelers should keep Staley or cut him?

Hey koopa, maybe you wasn't paying Duce enough to back you up You have some really vaild points though, especially the showing up to camp out of shape. That's uncalled for when you get payed to basically stay in shape, but I think he should stick around one more year, just one! The Steelers don't have any veterans in the backfield besides Duce. Yeah, there is Willie and Verron but Duce has more experience than both those guys put together. He can get in shape, and come time to make that push for the playoffs you'll be saying "I'm glad we kept Duce"

I would love for Duce to prove me wrong, but he hasn't. He just has seem to have lost a step or something. John Kuhn seemed to be running a lot harder than him. If we do keep Duce I hope he does well, but I just don't see it.

That could also be from Kuhn playing for a roster spot and Staley just trying to get into shape. We all know what Staley can do but Kuhn is an unknown at this point. I'm just hoping Jerome taught Staley a few things before he retired do he could pass it along to our young RB's.

At the same point isn't Duce playing for a roster spot as well?

Yes, but Kuhn may be putting more on the line than Duce to try and make the team. Staley could very well be playing not to get hurt while Kuhn on the other hand could be putting it all on the line to make the team. I'm not picking one over the other at this point.

I get what you're saying. I guess I'm just at the end of my rope with Duce.

As are a lot of people. Staley has played well for us when he has played so I guess I give him more of a chance then some.

Like most of you said, Kuhn is about to take the job from Duce. I think we seen the last of number 22 on the sideline with his darn pom poms and his rah rah rah crap. GET RID OF THE SALARY CAP EYESORE!!!
