David Stern was on ESPNRadio stating how he doesn't like the suspension rule in this particular case but that they had to enforce it because it's the current rule..they'll look into changing it in the offseason.

Explain how a big man in the paint all night long averages only 2.5 fouls a game all season long?

I can't stand Nash or Duncan either. They're both great players don't get me wrong. I just don't like them.

there's no debate, duncan didn't come off the bench during an altercation, there was no shoving, there was no eye balling, there was no yelling, elson was just going back on defense not even staring at jones

amare and diaw came out when horry and nash where shoving a little and when horry gave raja a forearm......which is considered an altercation.........so therefore they got what they should've

i'm not saying i like the rule, but rules are rules, and i'm proud of stern not bending them for a superstar...........

what blinders, where did you see an altercation, maybe you should remove your sun blinders

if there was an altercation there i would've said ok, but there was a potential fight when amare and diaw ran off the bench

there was no fight going to happen with elson, cause he's a faggot

I don't think your title has anything to do with anything. Having said that, let's stay focused on the issue at hand.

The rule was broken, so most definitely some sort of discipline was called for and it was handed out, rightfully so. In pro sports (or little league, elementary, jv, hs and college) when a rule is broken one can not allow themself to agree that no discipline should be handed out because the player was right. He may be right but what he did is against all rules in the NBA. The NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL or any of them, need to repeal rules that are not working out, in the offseason. Once a rule is handed down, it is mandatory for a ref to follow up on it, the ref did exactly as he was suppose to and well, that is that. All NBA fans need to quit whining, fix it in the offseason, there are probably a ton of rules in various sports that people think should be gone. I think in a playoff game there should be no rules, let 'em play, I figure they have earned that right, but I also know I am in the minority. I think some of the NCAA rules are stupid, but they are the rules. They don't have to be right, they are the rule.
