My Thoughts On The Steelers First Day

Well I know I'm very stubborn SOB at times and I liked to over analyze things at times. But I'm very happy with the Steelers first day of the draft. I know its fustrating seeing guys you want the Steelers to trade up and draft go by pick after pick. But hey I felt the Steelers biggest issue heading into this draft was the lack of a consistent pass rush. Well with the drafting of Timmons and Woodley that should seriously upgrade the pass rush in the future. Hopefully its sooner rather then later.

So take a deep breath, drink a beer or do whatever. But have faith Stillers Nation since there is another day of drafting to be done. Yes I know the Steelers 2nd days picks have stunk lately but maybe they get it right this year. I know I'm still excited about the 2nd of the draft. You can still find good players and depth for your football team on the 2nd day.

Hopefully in the 3rd round the Steelers draft one of these three players. I would like Beekman, Jacoby Jone or Tony Hunt.

Really though I'll wait to see what we get in the 3rd round here coming up but I do like both picks at LB. Our pass rush just got a lot deeper and the intensity in camp for starting jobs just got even hotter.
