    Passing Attack

I dont know about you guys, but I dont think the steelers possibly making a transition to a more pass-happy offense would be out of the question. Any thoughts?

I think you need to be balanced and have both offense and defense, which we have both. As far as defense wins championships goes I think that If your opponent cant score, they cant win, but if you cant score you cant win either. If that makes any sense at all.lol.

There's two historical facts about winning the superbowl or hell
any game for that matter ,,,,,,,,,,,, Run the ball & stop the run

Make a team one dementional and your chances of winning increases tremendously ,,,,,,,,,,Such as tampa did the raiders and anyone who played the bills except the giants

I still say the better "D" always comes out on top,,,,,,,Just look at the steelers in the 70's our offense wasn't spetacular,,,49ers "D" was very under-
rated,,,,,,85 bears------The list goes on and on

I do agree with you but you have to have offense to. Take the Ravens last year playing against the colts in the playoffs. They held the colts to ONLY field goals, but they couln't score.

Look at the ravens that won the superbowl
The colts would not have won the super if there "D" would'nt have come to life

Yeah you make a good point, Manning was terrible in the playoffs other than the game against the patriots. I don't think he should have been named superbowl mvp either. I guess when it comes down to it D-fense does win championships, but an offense definitley helps
