I still think we'll get a CB in the draft, in the later rounds anyways. If for anything, for depth. I so would love to see Kiper and all the rest of the idiots eat some crow for thinking we'll draft one with our #1.

That's going to be the best part Diesel, watching all the draft guru's scramble to justify our pick or sit there and try say it's what they meant all long for us...or even better to see them sit there and wonder why we didn't take a CB when they finally realize we don't need one early on in the first place.

Ok maybe its just me....I agree corner isn't our biggest need. But you can never have enough quality cover corners. So if Revis is picked in the first round I won't be mad at all. Just as long the Steelers get a good player in the first round then I'll be happy.

Now QB and TE,S don't needed be drafted in the first round at all. Plus K or P. But every other position should be considered. Now OLB, ILB are way bigger needs in my opinion but who is to say the value will match the 15th pick at LB when we pick.

Funny thing is, it won't even phase them, they will do the 2 step and change the subject real quick.

I posted this earlier this year, trying to make a case on getting a shutdown CB with our #1 pick. It makes sense, mostly because a lot of great OLB's have been drafted in the later rounds. I don't really know if anyone this year can be a true shutdown, they all have some knock against them, whether it be speed, size or had a down year compared to the rest of their college career. Don't know bro.....

Plenty of good promising CB's in this years draft .... grabbing one in the first round would be a mistake of epic proportions considering the youth and potential of both Ike and McFadd. I don't think people realize how good these two can be once they start working together on a regular basis. They're both as athletic as they come ..... Now add the "hit man" Anthony Smith to the fold backing them up and this crew can be downright nasty.

I do see us getting a CB in this year (primarily to replace our weakest link which is Towhsend), however I just don't see it happening until after round #3. Also a "show us" or "leave us" year for Colclough. He was a Cowher selection (i.e. project) and not a very good one IMO .... considering the value that was still on the board when we took him.
