    Solomon Wilcots on Tomlin...

On the NFL network Solomon Wilcots noted that the last six Superbowl winners have ran either the 3-4 Zone Blitz, or the 4-3 Tampa 2... and after learning behind the fathers of both (Kiffin/Dungy & Lebeau) Tomlin may get the best of both worlds.

He also mentioned that in Tomlin's five years as Tampa Bay's defensive back coach they led the NFL in interceptions with 112.

It's a good union, and after seeing how Tomlin is approachig this year I think we have the potential to just be a flat out wicked defense again, maybe even the likes of which the NFL has not seen in a LONG time.

On another note, I really wished that Soloman Wilcotts got one of the MNF seats in the booth .... the guy is a damn good football analyst and knows his football on both sides of the ball.

Solomon is very good on Sirius but when he does the "Afternoon Blitz" with well known "Steeler Hater" Adam Schein you can hear some anti-Steeler bias on his part and his true Cincy colors start to come to the surface.

I know what you mean. Reliving last season's highlights, playing Madden 07 and watching my Super Bowl XL dvd is just a tease. I'm ready for some Steeler football.

Really like what he had to say. Can't wait to see who Tomlin drafts.

I'd love to see Solomon on MNF, I enjoy his analysis on NFLN. Most of the time he's right on.
