IMO, Tomlin will be considered a success if we go anywhere from 9-7 on up--especially for his first year.
is i just me or do threads with all capitals in the name annoy you guys?![]()
I THINK THERE GREAT AND IT CAPTURES PEOPLES ATTENTION. AND WHEN YOU MAKE CAPITOLS IT SHOWS HOW GREAT A PERSON YOU ARE.
Thread titles in all caps aren't so bad, just don't post in all caps all the time otherwise we think you're yelling at us![]()
Good point !!
The pressure is on Tomlin in a way that most new HC's don't have to deal with. Normally when a new coach comes to down the team is in a state of rebuilding, or at least heading in a new direction from what the old coach did. Most times there is some leeway afforded to a new HC. Im sure the Rooney's won't fire Tomlin if he doesn't have a winning record in his first year  but to think they don't expect success in his fire year would be incorrect too.
Tomlin already has a championship caliber team in his lap, he is now charged with tweaking it and getting the best out of each one of these guys in a way that they probably aren't used to. I think he's got to make the playoffs in order to call his first year a success. We're accustomed to winning and we expect it so Mike definitely has his hands full but he seems to be embracing the challenge thus far.
