Palmer will play Monday night against Packers

    Yahoo Sports

Looks like Palmer is thinking he is ready to come back and play, so he'll do it Monday night. I might need to watch this, or at least while Palmer plays.

The last interview I saw of him he really sounded scared and like he wouldn't be ready for the opener. Then Marvin was basically riding him to get back on the field while he was talking with the media. I wonder what changed his mind? Is he ready? Given that I saw the interview about 2 weeks ago I would say no...

I'm actually picturing him dropping back and starting to feel some preasure... then instantly falling to the ground into the fetal position!

Well if he makes it through this game it will mean we have some competition for the division. If he doesn't then the division is ours to lose.As much as I hate Palmer the Bengals have a team that can give us trouble with him healthy.

I'm really interested to see who palmer responds when a linebacker or a lineman tackles him around the legs.

He said that he's been hit hundreds of times low since he's started playing football, and that is has only not worked one time.

This is probably the most excited I've ever been about a preseason game. Palmer, Sam Adams, and the starting O-line will all finally be in action.

I'm sure you feel like all us Steeler fans did when Ben played his first preseaon game. Just want to see how he takes the first couple hits.

I can't imagine he'll play that much, especially if the OL doesnt keep the pressure off him but I wish him a full recovery...

I don't want any excuses when we beat them again this year
