I'm glad we have Ben. It's easy to say cause we have no idea on how Rivers would have done. SD offense and our Offense are a little different.

I know that I've played the game before but a QB and Wideout have ot on the same page right?

Very true, and honestly none of us can say that Rivers wouldn't have been able to handle the job as good as Ben did..but Ben did it and did it in awesome fashion. His success is unmatched in the league so early on his career. I'll take Ben anyday

I don't think I ever said I really do like Ben, I said I hope the dude proves me wrong.

I wanted Rivers in the draft, b/c he has this thing called work ethic. ****, for a guy who wants to prove everyone wrong about him, he sure is working hard so far this off-season. I have seen at least one report of him missing workouts already. I'll try to find the report again and post it.

Rivers had a pro-bowl season, and no matter what he did, he wasn't overcoming the fact that Marty is a bad coach, especially in the playoffs. Plus I remember Ben doing pretty ****** in his first year in the playoffs, especially against New England. Rivers seems to be smarter, work harder, and be a little bt more dedicated than Ben, and thats why I wnated him on that day.
