Draft contest?

you guys want to do some kind of draft contest? something like evryone make there own mock and submit it before the draft, whoever gets the most right on who picks who wins....something along those lines.

mabye like 1 point if you pick the position right and a bonus if you get the right player......open to any ideas if someone has done one or run one before

mabey we'll have an entry fee and the winner takes all or something like that

Great idea! I will do it... there is a bunch of ways we could do the scoring. Here is my suggestion.

- right pick & right team = +5
- right pick = +2
- right team = +2
- right position = +1
- selected within 2 spots (+ or -) = +1
- not selected in the 1st round = -1

If you get the 5 points for right team & right pick you are not eligible for the following points.

just the first i would assume, possibly second, but after that picking is damn near impossible...depends on how we want to set it up

Here is the breakdown of the sccoring system...

- right pick & right team = +5 (If you have the correct player going to the correct team)

If you have JaMarcus Russell going first overall to the Raiders and he gets selected there.

- right pick = +2 (If you have "X" player going "X" overall)

If you had JaMarcus Russell going first overall to the Raiders, but the Browns traded up to take him first overall you would get two points.

- right team = +2 (If you have "X" player going to "X" team)

If you had JaMarcus Russell going first overall the the Raiders but they traded down and took him third overall you would get two points for right team.

- right position = +1 (If you have "X" team taking "X" position)

If you had the Raiders taking quarterback JaMarcus Russell, but they took quarterback Brady Quinn it is plus one point for same position.

- selected within 2 spots (+ or -) = +1 ("X" player selected within two spots (+ or -) of your predicited pick) right team, right pick, and right position are eligible for this one point bonus.

- "Within 2 spots" = if you have russel goin first overall, but he goes third overall... one point.

- not selected in the 1st round = -1

If you get +5 for right pick & right team you are not eligible for the following points.
