No because then we have nothing for the archives...
We also want to have the conversations out in the forums too like usual so everyone keep track of picks, links, and information that we all discuss.

The Chat feature is there for everyone to use whenever they want though
the point of a forum is to post your opinions........going to a chat room would defeat the purpose of having a message board.........
