    Draft prospects visit Steelers

    Draft prospects visit Steelers

    Monday, April 02, 2007
    By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

The Steelers entertained two college prospects today, the first day NFL rules permit the college players to visit teams before the April 28-29 draft.
Running back Antonio Pittman of Ohio State and defensive end Ikaika Alama-Francis of Hawaii spent time visiting the coaches and scouts at the Steelers UPMC facility. Each team is permitted to have 30 players in for visits between now and April 20.

    1200+ yds and 14 TD's in 2006 for Pittman. At Height: 5-11
Weight: 195 lbs. he's alittle on the small side for what we would be looking for IMO.

I'm a big Ohio State fan and I like Pittman's talent but I am not too sure if he is what we should be looking for, I could be wrong.

Thanks House of Steel for the sig and avatar

He's not too small to play in the league, no. We've got a smaller speed back that has some power, in Willie. If we're going to draft a back I'd hope it's bigger back with some power.

Pittman has more power than you think. He might not be big, but he runs hard. So, I'd take him over Henry.
