    Steelers Exibition Opponents...

    The Steelers, who open their 2007 exhibition schedule against New Orleans in the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 5 in Canton, Ohio, will also play exhibition games against Green Bay, Washington, Philadelphia and Carolina, the NFL announced today.

    The Steelers will play home games against Green Bay (Week 1) and Philadelphia (Week 3). Road games are against Washington (Week 2) and Carolina (Week 4).

    The Steelers-Saints game is the first game of the entire preseason.

    Steelers games against New Orleans (NFL Network) and Philaddelphia (NBC) will be on national television.

    Do the Steelers have sort of agreement with the Eagles and Panthers for some reason? It seems like they have played them the last 2 years in pre-season games...

    I kinda like playing the beagles in preseason since we don't get to play them much...lets us atleast get that in state rivalry going even if it is in preseason

    I was just about to say the same thing. with all the teams in the NFL... why the same teams. This is the 3rd yr playing Philly in a row,What the f*ck.

    It don't really matter who we play in the preseason, its just that, the preseason. The HOF game should be good to watch.

    I'm guessing playing pre-season games with teams that are relatively close to your own city probably cuts down on the travel expense for the owners and helps reduce the fatigue factor for the players by not having to travel across country.
