Pens turn-around...

I want anyone who replys to this to be 100% honest.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have had a huge turn-around this year and are in position to take the 2nd seed in the playoffs from New Jersey! It is unbelievable! Now the season did not always go smoothly, though. The Pens got off to a hot start, then stumbled mid-season. It looked over for the Pens and it looked like the rebuilding process was still going on as the Pens nearly hit .500 at several points during the season. It all was about to cave in when the Pens fell to 20-17-8. Then they caught fire that made the 05 Steelers run look like nothing special (though we know it is). The Pens went on a run of 24-6(about to be 25-6)! They are currently beating Boston, moving their record to 45-23-10. Which means a NJ loss gives us 2nd seed.

Now all that being said, How many of you saw this coming?

I saw them doing well, but not this well. They have to be considered contenders for Lord Stanley's Cup !!

I didn't see this coming, maybe a wild card seed for the playoffs, but these guys are just flat out playing on fire.

I thought they'd be decent but never 100+ points , also during the Bruins game they show how many ppl are having career years in at least 1 stat cat and it was literally like 10 ppl that has a great deal to do with everyone blossoming at once . I wonder how they do in the playoffs

There is a part of me that thinks they will flop because of inexperience in the playoffs. But then there is another part that says, experience is the most over-rated factor in playoff anything.

I say they at least make the Conference finals.

Stillers, your quote is an understatement, you watch them propel themselves to the Stanley Cup Finals, and I see a seven game series in which the Pens pull the miracle of Pittsburgh and bring one home.
