I believe Tomlin will do good his first year and then get better as time goes on. What I would like to see is us doing is 1. Have a helluva draft 2. Have our defense back to killin people. 3. Roethlisberger and crew have a way better then last season year. 4. Sweep the Ratbirds, Bungholes and shitstains.

If you donít stand behind our troops.....Please feel free to stand in front of them!!!

Considering Tomlin is taking over a team that won the Super Bowl just over a year ago, he could have a huge first season. Kind of like Gruden when he went to Tampa Bay As long as he doesn't come in and try and redo the entire team he could easily be 10-6 or 11-5 and in the playoffs.

??????? The team is in place? I`m not so sure! We are very weak at linebacker, at least we have no depth at that position. And we do not have a replacement for our best pass rusher. Hagans is not the answer on the other side either. He is descent, but he will suffer without Porter on the other side.
Ike Taylor? His play was very shaky last year, and without a big pass rush, our corners will need to step it up even more, are they capable?
Our O-line did not play up to our expectations last season, now Faneca may hold out, and hartings is gone.
How will Tomlin do? Only time will tell, I could see us struggling this season, especially early on. I hope that I am wrong, I hope.

I wasn't so sure about him when he was first hired, but the Rooneys have a great history with there coaching picks. I decided to have faith. Based on what some of the veterans are saying about him I think we will all grow to love him. I'm a little worried about the changes he might make though. I'm not sold on the 4-3. But only time will tell!

Don't forget we ran a 4-3 in the Steel Curtain days. With the right personnel and coordinator we can make any scheme work.

That's true! Though it was a different time. I also believe we can make any scheme work with the right personnel, but then again so can any team. My point is the 3-4 has been working for us for a long time. I'm not saying it won't work I'm just not sold yet.

The steelers will be just fine under tomlin. Since you know I believe tomlin will be adding a ring or maybe two to his hand. Before he is done in Pittsburgh.
