Timmons a Lock?

Espn had a full mock draft during sportscenter and Mike Golic picked
LAWERNCE TIMMONS for the Steelers and Mike Golic thrashed Mickeal Smith for picking Adrain Peterson for the Cardnals even though Joe Thomas, Quinn, Russell, Johnson were gone

It looks like he's the obvious choice and I wouldn't mind him at all. I just hope he doesn't end up like the last 1st round LB we drafted Robin Cole who I didn't even know before espn said it. So I just wanted know if you all agree about Timmons being a lock and if he really is round 15 talent, I'm not even sure if he is I'll have to see him play before I decide.

but the later rounds Intrigues me becuase they are very hard to predict

The last time the Steelers drafted a LB in the first round was 1991 and it was Huey Richardson. Yes that would be very bad if Timmons ended up the next Richardson. Its safe to say that Timmons will be better then Richardson.

I don't know if Timmons is a lock for sure. I won't shocked at all if Timmons is drafted at 15 but if Revis is on the board at 15 then I think he will be the pick. It seems Tomlin really likes Revis.

Timmons is a great player, hes a better prospect than ernie simms who was drafted very high last year and was a beast for the lions (who suck)

I don't think Timmons won't fall either. Just saying crazier things have happened before in the draft. You just never know bro.

I know we need depth at every position on defense, but we also need a good potential starter at LB, so that tells me we need a LB in round 1, no DB !
