Im getting lost on this step here..
I can't get that part to work rightYou will now have your text marquee'd on your sig. So make sure you are on you image layer, not the text layer and do a select -> inverse (CTRL + Shift + I), then edit -> clear (or hit backspace). Hide your text layer by clicking the eye and viola.![]()
Very nice tut. I can't wait to try it.
If you have the marquee around your text you need to erase the extra thats not needed. So marquee the text, invert the selection so it selects the 'opposite'
Once you do the select inverse, just hit backspace on your keyboard to 'erase' the extra (the extra being from the image layer.. so it leaves the image as text). I put the CTRL + SHIFT + I, for example, in paranthesis cause thats the keyboard shortcut. So doing an edit -> clear is the same as hitting backspace on your keyboard.
Is that what your askin?![]()

Yeah that's it, I hit backspace but nothing happenedunless I didn't do the steps right like I thought I did up to that point.
If your still here, turn on your AIM.. I'll help ya through it.
You have to select the text so you have the outline, then go to your image layer so you can erase everything but the outlined text.. so whats left on your image layer is your image in the form of text.
And I added the option #3 to the first post.

Just tried a fast one with this method. It came out well, although the photo wasn't that good. Once I find a better photo I'll post up my results.
That is damn good, Prosdo. Look out, we got some newbies coming on strong. Does this tutorial work for PSP7?
Not sure about PSP. I'm sure you can get it to work, but I doubt the steps are the same.
