With as much money as is involved with hiring these guys, you'd think they'd do a background check (or a better one!).
ANYbody can have a problem or two when they're young, and as long as it wasn't anything real serious, everybody deserves a second chance--but depending on what the offense was, and how much of a serial offender they are, they shouldn't even be hired to begin with. You can tell what some guys are gonna be like just by checkin their rap sheet.
They need to take Lewis off to the side and explain to him (use flash cards if necessary) that character issues are a distraction to the team and will spread like a disease.
