Bar has been raised for Troy's new contract

Most of us men might not like to admit just how much our wives influence our decisions, but they do! If Troy's wife really wants to go back to the west coast it may be harder to sign him than we think. What has Troy said to reporters when asked if he will ever cut his hair? Ask my wife.......she won't let me cut it! It should be agreed that wherever Troy goes he will get paid some coin! If his wife is unhappy in Pittsburgh then that will not bode well for us resigning him. That may not be the "macho testosterone way to make decisions" but all married men know that keeping Momma happy is integral to a happy home! Someone please take that woman shopping!

lol...that would make me happy if I was her...lol!!! Anyways, I did hear that she was missing Cali, but I also heard that they are really liking Pittsburgh and she is getting more involved in the community and loving it...so who knows. I do know, we need to sign him!!! This is one guy that we just can't afford to lose.

I'm sure Troy would feel blessed to be the highest paid Safety but IMO he doesn't feel that he needs be. Troy is very humble and thankful for what he has!

If losing Porter was a bad loss, then losing polamalu would be like geting ones foot chopped off. We need him, and the Rooneys know that.

I think the Rooney's will do whatever it takes to keep Troy around. He is that valuable to our team and they know it!!!1

I agree Troy is a very good player and is important. But every player is replaceable. I hope he is resigned and retires a Steeler. If not then so be it. Hey players come and they go.

they do, but I dont see anyone around who could currently replace Polamalu. Not necessarily be him, but replace him. i think he will get resigned though.
