    NFLPA May OK Punishing Lawbreakers

The head of the NFL Players Association said in Indianapolis Friday he would consider a Proposal to discipline players who repeatedly get in legal trouble.
Gene Upshaw, executive director of the NFPLA, said players are "sort of moving in the direction" of adopting penalties similar to the NFL's three-strikes program for players who violate the NFL's drug policy, the Los Angeles Times reported.
A group of players suggested the idea Thursday during a meeting in Indianapolis with Commissioner Roger Goodell, Pittsburgh Steelers owner Dan Rooney and Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen. The meeting was called to look at ways the league might deal with the increase in off-the-field behavioral problems involving players, the newspaper said.
I think they should of did this years ago. all these f*ck up players will think twice before they decide to be *******s. To many kids look up to these guys as role models and when you got them pulling **** all the time makes it bad for the next Generation.

Definitely somthing that should have been done years ago, but I guess it's better later than never. The off-field incidents are really on the rise lately they need to get it under control.

They should of done this many years ago, the NFL is now getting some bad publicity from these so called criminal minded Pimps. The Bengals are the biggest crock of them all. You know what, they ought to start with Pac-Man Jones and throw his *** out of the league for good.
