And your "won 6 of the last 8 games" theory cuts both ways. What makes you think the coaches prepared the team any differently in the first 8 games? Evidence?

The team was crushed with injuries in the beginning of the year. They lost their most important lineman a few plays in and had to scrap their blocking scheme. They lost their starting RB beginning of the year. They lost a starting ILB who called the D and had to put a rookie there. There star TE was a shell of himself for the first half. That and Pouncey contributed to Ben playing poorly. We can go on and on.

They played better the second half because replacements and rookies started to get more comfortable with experience.
Even with injuries (every team has them) how do you justify losing to the Raiders, Vikings, and Dolphins? Dolphin loss was at the end of the season.

The dolphins were 8-8 too lol

Just cause they are a Florida team doesn't make Pittsburgh like outer space for them. Clay has some nice plays for them that ultimately won the game.

Raiders and the Vikings were a travesty. Those are winnable games and they dropped the ball. They need to win those games just as bad as they need to not get blown out by New England but **** happens

Kicker Shaun Suisham received a $2.85 million signing bonus when he signed a four-year contract extension last Friday and his new deal could be worth as much as $12.875 million, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Suisham's cap hits are as follows: $1.7625 million this year, $3.665 million in 2015 and $2.97 million in 2016-18. Suisham's signing bonus is the only guaranteed money in the four-year deal

The way the deal is structured it may be tough for Sushy to see the third and fourth year.

The way the deal is structured, the 2nd year will almost certainly be restructured by converting salary to signing bonus....
