He's a good, young FS with speed, ball skills and can lay the wood. Keeps us from having to draft a safety high and it keeps us from having to start Shamarko out of position. He's a second tier type signing. Not on the level of Jairus Byrd, or TJ Ward, but not a scrub. He's the "Clark/Farrior-type" free agent signing people have been asking for.

Still know nothing, doesn't have a lot of INT throughout his career. Hope he defends a lot of passes to be honest.

This just means we wont be drafting a S in the first.

    Say hello to Nix.

Veeeery nice. I still want upgrades at NT, CB, and WR, with solid depth added at LB, RB, DE, and TE. That's only three big needs to me and the 1st rounder will fill one. Could be a very nice roster this year; the best in a while...

I concur, although I think he's a little bit less of a "tier" than the guys you mentioned.

He definitely has the range we've lacked at the position. And he plays like a Steeler.

While I agree with all of that... I wouldn't want TJ Ward anywhere near this team. He's limited and a personal foul machine. Denver is going to bust this year.

We don't need a SS. I meant in terms of level of play and pay lol. TJ Ward had arguably the best season for a safety last year.

I'm down lol. Not sure how much cap they have at the moment though. Had over 7M before signing Mitchell. An extension/restructure or two would do nicely.
