Cracks me up how if we don't draft Benjamin/Evans this draft will be fail
I'd say 6'2+, it certainly doesn't have to be a 6'5 guy. And there may be 1 or 2 people that feel that way, but obviously there are a # of ways they could go. It obviously doesn't have to be Benjamin or Evans.

I have little doubt that Benjamin will be there. But I'd prefer Evans. More speed, comes out his breaks better. Etc.etc.

I didn't say the draft would be a failure. Who said that? For all we know, they could go Gilbert in the first round (I'd be happy with that) and then go Jordan Matthews in the second round and that would be great too if the front office decides that's the way to go. But whatever they do, they'd better be right in their direction.

If they go WR in the first, which is definitely a possibility, it will not be another shorter WR like Lee. I pretty much guarantee it.

exactly. They have that already. We need a red zone target. Something that Brown and company DON'T give us. Keep telling some of you, no matter how much you throw stats out there, if your lead WR isn't a red zone target, how can you be proficient in the red zone?

Look at Denver this pass year: They had D.Thomas and Decker along with the TE (Thomas). All big red zone targets.

You know what would provide the biggest red zone threat?

    A viable running game.

No argument in that the O-line staying healthy and a good running game is the ultimate key to our season. If they O-line is still a mess with blocking schemes and injuries, then the season is already over.

Not saying that anyone said that to be fair. But when everyone is talking about bigger receivers, it's always Benjamin/Evans. I would rather take a 6'3/6'2 guy who has better route running ability and faster than to have a big receiver who has a harder time running routes just for a jump ball.

    I hear ya.

So in that case, do you like Jordan Matthews?

If you look at my latest mock, I want him in the 2nd.

    1. Justin Gilbert-CB OKS
    2. Jordan Mathews-WR Vandy
    3. Stanley Jean-Baptiste-CB Nebraska
    4. Daniel McCullers-NT UT
    5. Josh Mauro- DE Stanford
    6. Dri Archer-RB Kent State
    7. John Urschel-OG PSU

This mock was from a week ago. But I wont change Mathews in the 2nd, or even Allen Robinson.
