It's up to the Steeler Organization............

To bring the defense back to the AFC.

We were the one's who brought super smash mouth defense to the AFC and it is up to us bring it back and the glory of the conference too.

If we get the D back, we go through this conference like a hot knife through butter right to the Super Bowl.

Let's get our glory back. Let's get dominant on those lines. Seattle has proven it can still be done so let's do what is our birthright and bring back hard hitting, smash mouth, I'm taking your lunch money defense!
The Steeler way...is the only way.

Seattle can rush the QB with just four men.....They also have a physical and athletic secondary......They're monsters in that secondary.......

So were we at one time. I can still remember the way Mel Blount brought it.

Before my time I can only go by the highlights of that era and the stories from older fans....lol

What I'm saying Real Deal I don't see the Steelers changing their philosophy on D anytime soon as long as Dick is the DC.......

damn...what a depressing thought. While I watch a real team go man to man the majority of the time and sufficate the other teams offense.

Meanwhile, I watch 10 yard cushions being given to Jacoby Jones.

It'll be a while before the Steelers have a defense like the Seahawks. The Steelers defense is over the hill, slow, and too passive. The Seahawks defense is young, fast, and aggressive.

Yes, and the Steelers used to be good at finding gems in the latter rounds. Recently, not so much. And like I said, the styles of the defenses are different. The Steelers are passive, the Seahawks are aggressive.

    It'll be a while.

It's called fundamental football, Pete is coaching it, we are not! Lawn darting a RB, WR isn't going to get them to the turf.

Kiss the ball, wrap up and tackle! Clark, Troy are the kings of whiffing!
