This is post combine, some of these guys may move up or down depending on how teams view their pro day results. I think this would help us fill some of our immediate needs as well as give us some depth at others positions we need. the top 2 picks could be immediate starters and the rest would get some good playing time on special teams as well as some situational plays from day 1
we would also need to compliment this draft with a few decent FA's as well nothing crazy but a few solid veterans, possibly a S and DT, or LB
Love this mock also, I am all over Mauro, he would be a perfect fit for LE in our system. I would replace Thomas with Dri Archer though. Just my opinion.
Another guy to keep an eye out for for S is Dion Bailey from USC. He played both LB and S for the Trojans.
Update on Jimmie Ward:
Maybe this'll scare some teams away and we can sang him in the 2nd lolUpdating a previous item, Northern Illinois S Jimmie Ward will indeed undergo surgery to repair his foot injury that was discovered at the Combine. The surgery will repair a stress fracture and carries a 6-8 month recovery process. Ward is expected to be ready in advance of training camp, and perhaps even May's draft. Ward ran 4.46 and 4.51 forty times on the foot during NIU's Friday Pro Day. Ward is expected to be a top-50 overall draft pick.
