    MOCK

    1st 15th - Kelvin Benjamin WR
    - I can't help it. I want the potential. I'll take the risk/reward.

    2nd 46th - Ed Reynolds FS
    - It's a REALLY good 2nd tier safety class. There's a lot more depth at SS, than FS though. Pryor has a higher ceiling, but Reynolds is ready to play.

    3rd ~97th - Deandre Coleman DT/DE
It's really hard to project where a guy like Coleman "should" go. I like his versatility and fit for our front. And we NEED players who can play. He had to wait his turn to play at Cal, but that time waiting seems to have done him good. He's a smart and strong 2 gapper.

    4th 114th - Zack Kerr NT
    - Was really impressive at EW Shrine practices/game. Saw him in person and he's a freak. If you loved Poe's potential when he was coming out, take a look.... I think he has an NFL career waiting for him. Explosive for his size and gap abilities. If we don't take Nix, I would do whatever needed to get this guy. I'd even package our 4th and 5th (assuming we have a comp 5th to still use later) to move up to get him.

    5th 145th - Andrew Jackson ILB
    - A Gap smashing buckeroo. Athletic? Not really. Game Changer? Nope. Smash Your Face and Kick You in the Nuts Player? Yup. He gets better as a game goes on, I love that in a LBer.

    5th ~150th - Jean Stanley-Baptiste CB
    - BIG. The reality is that we play in a division with 2 of the 6 most difficult to cover WRs in the NFL (Gordon, Green). If you don't have an elite press corner, the next best thing is a guy who can bang and disrupt down field.

    6th 176th - Shaq Evans WR
    - If he falls this far, he's a steal. The guy can run routes and catch the ball, he's going to be a pro, even if he doesn't have any standout qualities. Put him next to Cotchery in a room for a year, and let him absorb.

    7th 208th - Jacob Pedersen TE
    - He can catch the ball on the run, unlike any of our other depth TEs. Has the potential to be a Owen Daniels type.

    7th ~225th - James White RB
    - Pass Protection skills, that's what it's about when you project as a CoP back. We need some fresh blood at RB to compete for a backup spot.

Note: Picks in the 4th - 7th rounds will be "pushed down" by the allocation of Comp Picks

Nice work, agree or disagree on some things it's cool you put this sort of time and effort in.

I don't get the infatuation with evans/benjamin, the wr class this year is loaded, I just feel like you can get a big body in round 2 or 3 that can come in and contribute

I will be happy with 2 out of these 3 for DB/S

    1. Dix
    2. Baptise
    3. Fuller

I believe if we draft 2 out of these 3 guys, the secondary will improve GREATLY.

I will be SHOCKED, if Robinson is there in the 2nd. It could happen though, if he is and we pass him up. It will be a mistake.

Im not going WR in the 1st like I was on board there.

Im going defense at either DL/S/CB help.

    Thank you.

I am trying to finalize a top 200 before the combine... which means lots of review of DVRd games.

Re-watched the Senior Bowl. Jimmie Ward may become my obsession... my #1 safety... my dream pick.

If you want to find a single high FS who can cover the entire field like the games best non QB football player... Jimmie Ward might be your best bet.

Ya I like Jimmie Ward as well. He can be the kind of free safety we haven't had in a while (though he played SS). Great range, great at tracking the ball in the air, fantastic ball skills, and can lay the wood for a not-so-big safety (5'11, 200ish?). I didn't know a lot about him until the senior bowl. He was by far the most impressive DB at the senior bowl IMO. It'll be interesting to see how high his stock rises this draft season.
