    Aaron Colvin

I liked this kid and saw him as a mid to late 2nd rounder who does well in zone (better than man). Unfortunately, he tore his ACL at Senior Bowl practice.

One thing that has always bothered me is that the Steelers seldom take chances with talented kids who are injured or perhaps had some behavioral issues (e.g. Burfect). Once in a while you will get a gem with a 6th or 7th (Beachum) but far more often you get a David Paulson. Rookies do not play for us much anyway, so why not use a 6th or 7th on Colvin, let him rehab in Pittsburgh while attending practices and meetings, and then see what he can give us in 2015. If he comes back at 100% (which happens more and more because they are getting so good at rehabbing these injuries), it is like getting an extra second round pick.

It seems like a low risk/high reward scenario but we seldom do it.

I think the best CBs in the draft for our system are in order as of this:

    1. Kyle Fuller
    2. Aaron Colvin

These 2 would be great in zone coverages.

Yeah, and you could have Colvin in 2015 with a 6th or 7th this season. Seems a no-brainer but we never do something like that.

PUP to IR rookie year. Snatch him up in the 6st round.

I'd be willing to take Fuller in the 3rd easily since we will have a 3rd I believe. Then take Colvin in the 6th. I think we will get two 6th round picks also. From Mendy.

Lets see what coverage seattle uses to play manning then lets talk about what kind of corners we need in goddell's nfl..

Really hoping we do this, although in honesty I don't think he'll last that long injury or not. A team that doesn't need him right now will probably try and snatch him up earlier, Like the Niners or a team like that. I think you'd really have to consider going after him in the 4th, which I would still absolutely do, and I'll be upset if KC and crew aren't seriously targeting him.

Isn't relevant at all with the CBs that I have listed. You will have to talk to DL to get your man-man coverage with a lockdown corner. When was the last time the Steelers drafted a CB in the first???
