Yes, at some point you have to draft what you feel could ultimately be Ben's replacement. Do you want to wait until Ben is retired before beginning to look for another QB? Are you happy with Gradkowski or Jones as your back up? You take every available opportunity to strengthen your roster as a whole. Not saying I'm in love with Boyd, because I'm not, I thought he performed as if he were one of the worst QB's at the combine.

Me too, Robinson seems to always be there lately. I did have a draft where I got Watkins, about a week ago it was.......and then my battery ran out on the laptop lol.

I would rather take a QB in the first in 2 years. That way, it pushes Ben to play better because he knows his days/years are numbered. Plus, it would make better competition between Ben and his successor. Hell, if the Steelers hit the draft on the head from last year and this year and we make the playoffs and look like they are legitimate playoff contenders for the next few years. I would gladly select Hundley next year.

I beleive Ben only has about 4 seasons left anyways. His body has taken so much of a beating throughout his career.

Does this tickle your fancy any better? (I actually like this draft scenario the best)

There is no way I am taking a QB this year at all. Not a huge fan of Ed Reynolds either. I like Coleman and the Dennard pick. Im just not a huge fan of Benjamin.

Van Der Kamp will be a weapon in the NFL, what's the one thing we've been bitching about the past 2 seasons? The Punter and the **** poor punts of flipping fields.

Instead of Boyd in "you're" 6th. I would go with Dri Archer which would make Haley happy as hell or go with Aaron Lynch and work with him being an OLB in a 3-4 system.

I'd take Josh Mauro in the 4th, Coleman a 4-7 round guy.

If it were even possible for a draft to break this way, I say I have the winner here. 2 picks from being able to scoop Archer in the 7th. I didn't get to address safety but this also doesn't include our comp in the 3rd where Reynolds should have been sitting, or sign a free agent...lol.
