In 2014 and 2015, Brown's base is $6 million. $8.25 in 2016 and $8.71 in 2017. Watkins will get about $4 million per in his rookie contract. $3 million if he drops a little. That is A LOT of money for two WR spots, at least from the Steelers historical perspective.

I am not saying he is not worth it or that they will not do it, just that it would be outside the Steelers model.

UW plays UCLA tomorrow night so the nation will get a good look at Anthony Barr. OLB that is playing lights out and could be someone we look at. Time to think about replacing Woodley and I would love to see this guy teamed up with Jarvis. Oh the sacks we'd have with them together.....yes!!!!!

I think WR is pretty deep this year. I would put Evans/Watkins/Jordan/Lee in the same category. Jordan would be easily a top 15 pick if he had a QB to throw to him and played at a bigger program.

so there are about 10 teams that Jordan can go to with a QB that could get him the ball because if our can't I don't see a whole lot out there for him.

that's NOT a lot of money for 2 WR spots in the NFL today... it's the opposite of a lot...

What? Break that down again? Jordan can make plays regardless of who the QB is. If you put him on Clemson offense/FSU offense for example. He would go ahead of Watkins imho. But both are great college receivers. I would love to see Mike Evans in Pittsburgh also, big target for Ben.

Disagreeing with yourself now, huh? This is just a simple ploy to try and make people believe you two aren't the same person. Not buying it!
