Now that the Steelers season is over

The steelers are not mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, but they are all but out of it. The biggest problem the Steelers have is the rash decision making. I'm at a loss why Redman was picked as the starter, but never played in the preseason. Now, he has been released. Dwyer played all preseason and then got cut. Bulter beats out Moorman but is cut in favor of Zoltan Mesko. Levi Brown is brought in on a whim. He can't even last 5 minutes.
The offensive game plan against the Jets was great. But lousy against Oakland.

To me, it's like Tomlin and Colbert are throwing stuff against the wall to see if it sticks. That is no way to run a football team. The steelers have the players to 10-6 and make the playoffs. The main issue is with the leadership. There needs to be a better decision making process. Once that gets fixed, the steelers will be back.

With all due respect I don't think this team has the players for even a 8-8 season.

I told the wife 4-12 before the season started. Not something I'll take much joy in being right about.

I am an old retired guy who has been watching the Steelers since Ray Parker was their coach and John Henry Johnson and Buddy Dial were their stars. Those teams didn't win a whole lot, but no one wanted to play them because of their physical nature. I have never seen a Steeler team as mentally and physically soft and as poorly prepared to play as this current team. Being 0-4 the last 2 years against terrible teams like the Raiders and Titans is unexcusable. Someone needs to lose their job.

I said 6-10, but christ. At least play with some heart/passion is all I ask.

Im shooting for a 4-12 season. Better draft pick. Beat the Browns twice and Baltimore on Thankssgiving and Im a happy camper. I don't see any reason to root for the Steelers after that. The worse we do the better the pick. I'm not going to bitch about having a losing season for the first time in 10 years. We need to rebuild through the draft. We need to get younger and remove some dead weight in the offseason.

Does anyone feel that Tomlin is a good coach for rebuilding? Look at all the young guys on this team that act like hotdogs even when they don't play all that well. They need a coach that gives them a sense of discipline and humility.

That is how Tomlin coaches it's like he thinks he is back in 2008 when they won all of these close games and he thinks that Ben is always going to pull it out for him much like he did a number of times that season when they won the Super Bowl. He has no gameplan,no ability to make adjustments and think on the fly, and like somebody just mentioned above the Steelers continually losing to horrific teams the last 2 seasons such as the Raiders and Titans as you mentioned now 2 years in a row, a terrible Browns team last season and a pathetic Vikings team this season in London is just flat out inexcusable and it needs to be addressed somehow and somebody needs to do something about it because it's flat out inexcusable like I just mentioned...
