    Man Coverage

You guys remember when we went Man Coverage on Brady and the Pats a few years back.......that was amazing defence. By doing that Brady could not get the ball out quickly and our Pass Rush had some time to create pressure.

For whatever reason we have decided that won't work again so we have gone back to having our CB's sit 10 yards off the line on plays like 3rd and 3. Even I can see what play is coming and it comes all the time. WR runs up field 5 yards...stops and voila another First down.

Our only way out of this funk is to generate some pressure......stop the opposing offence and generate some turnovers.

Same old song and dance for the past decade. It wont change until DL retires. Sadly but surely.

Exactly. So why are we even talking about this?

DL is waiting for the LB's to do their job faster??? Then the scenario switches around right?

It is hard to watch Ike, hes watching the pass then makes the tackle for a 6-7 yard gain, usually for first downs. over and over.

What games are you watching? Ike is playing great as usual. He held AJ Green to 41 yards.

Its the only way we can beat Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Brees... or they will slowly tear us apart.

Thank you. Like I said in the other thread, Ike is just a "guy" at cornerback and when the money was on the line, Cutler went to Marshall on that 40 yard pass and burned him. Ike doesn't intimidate anyone.

Lol. Burned him? I suggest you find the play and watch it again. It was great coverage. We're still waiting for you to name the 15 corners better than Ike.
