That kind of injury takes like 8 to 10 months to recover from. I don't think it was ever realistic that he'd be ready for the opener. In fact, if he plays at all this year, I'll be surprised.

So you say it takes 8 to 10 months to recover from that kind of injury. It's been almost exactly 8 months since the injury. Even if it takes him the full 10 months to fully recover, that would put it right between game 7 and 8. And you're saying you'll be surprised if he plays at all this year?
I want him back healthy, Heath deserves to come back when HE is ready to help the team. Not just be out on the field because of the last name on his jersey. I hate to say this "because it sounds like Tomlin", but Paulsen and CO. need to step up.
