With the 10th pick in the 2007 SA Mock Draft the Atlanta Falcons select:
Ted Ginn Jr. WR Ohio State
HT: 5-11 WT: 175
Ted Ginn Jr. is second to none when it comes to speed... He's an electrifying runner in the open feild and is a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball. He's a great return man and a was former high school quarterback... very versatile and can be a threat a variety of ways. He needs to put on some weight he is actually lighter than 175... he says he loses 10-15 pounds during the season.
Atlanta's biggest weakness and subject of much criticism from the media has been their wide receivers... or lack thereof. Ginn will certainly improve their talent level and big play capabilities on the outside. The combination of Vick and Ginn is pretty exciting... he should create a buzz in Hotlanta and help their quarterback improve. A receiver like Ginn definitley improves quarterback ratings.
Falcon fans get ready for a lot of wide receiver screens... otherwise known as the "Ginn again" made famous by Jim Tressel.
