    Steelers Sign QB, Hire Coach...

    Friday, February 09, 2007

    By Ed Bouchette, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

The Steelers have signed a quarterback and new coach Mike Tomlin hired the final assistant for his staff.

Bryan Randall, who played at Virginia Tech, becomes the fourth quarterback on the team's roster. he spent time on the practice squads of the Falcons in 2005 and Buccaneers in 2006.

Tomlin hired Harold Goodwin to serve on his staff as assistant line coach and quality control coach on offense. Goodwin, 33, was fired this week as the assistant offensive line coach with the Chicago Bears, where he worked the past three seasons.

I like having BSP around, the dude knows our offense enough to run it in a pinch and seems to always be around when we need him

If St. Pierre or Randall have to start then the Steelers would be in a world of hurt. Lets hope we don't see the 3rd QB ever in a game unless in its a 45-0 Steelers blow out.

Lets not forget that the Steelers also signed former West Virginia QB Rasheed Marshall. I know he is a WR now but just saying the Steelers right now have 5 QB's on the roster.lol
