The Steelers have signed a quarterback and new coach Mike Tomlin hired the final assistant for his staff.

Bryan Randall, who played at Virginia Tech, becomes the fourth quarterback on the team's roster. he spent time on the practice squads of the Falcons in 2005 and Buccaneers in 2006.

Tomlin hired Harold Goodwin to serve on his staff as assistant line coach and quality control coach on offense. Goodwin, 33, was fired this week as the assistant offensive line coach with the Chicago Bears, where he worked the past three seasons.
