I don't think anyone cares who else you or Koop root for, but to come on to a board and say F*ck Myron cope, would be like me saying f*ck Magic Johnson.

I don't care about who else people root for, you aren't expected to be a fan of every Pittsburgh team, but come on.

Cope is a PITTSBURGH LEGEND, not just a Steelers legend. If you ain't from the Burgh we really don't expect you to understand. It wasn't so much Koop's opinion that stunk, it was the way he expressed it.

I hope you have it straight who said what. I know all about Myron Cope and I was a steeler fan before he was the voice of the Steelers, so I do not feel I am not "aware" just because I do not live in da burgh. You do not have to live in da burgh to be knowlegable about Steeler football and Steeler football history.

Cope was awesome, at least untill the last couple years before he retired, when his voice got worse and his mind wasn't quite as sharp as in his prime.

IMO, I'd take the Pens over the Stars any day (except Zubov. He's the man)

Myron Cope is/was one heck of a talented human being, we all think of him as a commentator but he was one darn good writer, also!
