In fact, research shows that players with spinal stenosis are at no greater risk of devastating spinal cord injury than any other player with a normal-sized spinal canal. This flies in the face of what one could logically expect, but it is indeed the case.
    this says it all.

Crash is arguing for the sake of arguing again. IM SO SURPRISED

Again, tell that to Tim Lewis.

He hasn't played a down of football in 30 years, and he's STILL dealing with it.

Pompei reports that orthepedist Craig Brigham examined Jones and, in a report that was sent to NFL teams, said Jones doesn't have spinal stenosis but instead "either had a very mild incident of spinal cord concussion or merely a stinger that has long since resolved," according to the Pompei.

Brigham's report told teams that even if Jones suffered another similar injury that "it would not be a career-ending issue."
"Jarvis is cleared to play without restriction," Brigham's report concluded.

Thank you for posting. That should end all concerns and rumors about Jarvis Jones. If this were known before the draft he may have been drafted in the top 5.

We got the steal of the draft.

    C-town

That report was before the draft. Teams still had potential concerns.

Well then we were one of the few teams that must have done their homework.

    I welcome Jones - A great pick!

Irvin with twelve years in the NFL? That ain't easy to do for anybody. I will take 12 good years out of Jones and be glad the Steelers paid him for it! At any rate, to beat the competition, or gain notoriety, , one must take risks, at anything in life. I have no problem with the Steelers taking a risk on Jones. If it does not work out, it does not work out. They took the player that best fit their needs at the time.

He'll never lead the NFL in sacks with LeBeau as DC because he'll be wasted in pass coverage.

Then some ignorant like you will complain about his sack totals without taking his ROLE in the defense into consideration.

If he's flagged for 4 hits on QBs? Goodell will suspend him. Goodell hates the Steelers.

Go read Steelers Digest. You aren't bright enough to discuss this team with me.

Did I miss the memo that Tomlin was fired?
