And on that note from Profootballtalk.com:

Roethlisberger: I want more Super Bowl rings than Bradshaw

Posted by Michael David Smith on July 2, 2013, 12:48 PM EDT

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has two Super Bowl rings. Which puts him three short of his goal.

At his appearance in London to promote the American version of football, Roethlisberger said his goal is to have the most Super Bowl rings of any starting quarterback in Steelers history. Which would also mean he’d have the most Super Bowl rings of any starting quarterback in NFL history, as Steelers Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw and 49ers Hall of Famer Joe Montana share the current record with four.

“I want to pass Terry Bradshaw by getting more Super Bowl wins. That’s our expectations in Pittsburgh,” Roethlisberger said, via Steelers PR man Burt Lauten.

Roethlisberger also made clear that he wants to win all of those Super Bowls in Pittsburgh.

“There is no other franchise I would rather play for than the Pittsburgh Steelers,” he said.

Realistically, the odds are against the 31-year-old Roethlisberger winning three more Super Bowls, in Pittsburgh or anywhere else. For that matter, the odds would be against any NFL player winning three more Super Bowls. But Roethlisberger, who has never been close to Bradshaw, would love to eclipse the Hall of Fame quarterback who came before him in Pittsburgh.
The Steeler way...is the only way.

I really doubt Ben gets there....Now if the Steelers would have beaten the Packers in Super XLV then yea I would say Ben winning five could be possible.....I do think Ben does lead the Steelers to one more Super Bowl title but I can't see him winning three more......Hopefully I'M WRONG..................

Well, it's just good that he's still so driven. I see at least 1 or 2 more rings for him and us. It's that third one that is a bit tricky.

There is no possible way Ben gets 5. With this team in transition 3 is the Max I believe he gets, if he even gets 3. Not saying he can't do it, but it relies on his, and the teams health throughout the course of the season.

Old horse-face Elway got 2 rings late in his career, anything is possible.

Elway got two when he was unleashed on the NFL and was no longer handcuffed by Dan Reeves' dinosaur offense of the 1970's.

Well Terrell Davis helped in those Super Bowl wins as well.......Elway did throw a career high 27 TDs in the 97 season and yes he was still very good his last few years but Elway finally having talent around him allowed him to get over the Super Bowl hurdle..........

The point is, that BEN is now Elway in Reeves' system.

The question will be, is if we decide to unleash Ben, like Denver did Elway.
