Ok I thought he was joking. We know 89 has some major blocking skills. This could suck!

You have this belief that if a TE isnt fast and isn't a great reciever that he's useless. It's an ignorant point of view if I'm being totally honest. Matt Spaeth is an ideal blocking TE in a zone blocking scheme. He arguably the best blocking TE in the NFL. It's like having an extra tackle out there in an outside ZBS.

Hopefully it isn't serious because he is/was going to be a major contributor in improving the run game.

Crap, hopefully being carted off was a precaution...

Like many have said, Spaeth was not only our #1 TE with Miller out, but he was going to play a huge role in the run game this year.

i wouldnt call him the best, but hes ideal for the move with bicknell to zone. He is like 6-8 and can move really well. I do think they would limit him in the passing game because hes not very good at it and paulson looks to be their guy in that role for a while but he really is a guy that can block his *** off, which we lost when saunders got suspended
