The first step in changing oneself is to desire it. Ben has no desire to change himself, hence won't. How much more obvious can he make it. In a sideline shot, Tomlin tells Ben to get rid of the ball quicker or he will bench him. And Ben said, "OK coach, but I only know how to play one way." That tells me he refuses to even try to change. He COULD change, but he refuses to.
Bench him? No.
The game was decided because we blew the team out. He told Ben to be careful and he'd leave him in.
Ben's quote was he only knows how to play one way: All in.
And he's right. If Tomlin wants him to be careful with the ball and his body in a game thats already a blow out? Take him out.
You can't force a competitor not to compete.
Yeah Ben would be so much better off if he were like Peyton Manning, one of the premier playoff chokers of all time, or Tom Brady, who hasn't won dick since they got caught cheating and has thrown twice as many picks as TD passes in his last 4 AFC title games, as well as failed to score 20 points on offense in his last two Super Bowls.
You clowns are going to be in for a rude awakening once Ben leaves this team.
I guess things have to be spelled out for you...I mean the Title of the thread is Batch:big picture Jones to replace Ben in 2 years so any idiot can figure out I was responding to what Batch said...If I was responding to a particular poster then I would have used quotes....

Nope. It's never been as bad as some fans and media have stated. Not even close.
I wish Ben, in a PRE-SEASON GAME, would just throw the ball away at the first sign of trouble for an entire game. Go Carson Palmer and not even try to make a play.
Then maybe idiots will realize how well they have it.
