Mike Adams played in 10 games and had 6 starts.......Can we give the guy some more time before writing him off?.......

Well, the coaches and staff were "confident" in the OL at the time of the 2007 and 2008 drafts, too. And they were wrong to be. Don't you remember when asked about addressing the needs of the OL to help Ben, and Tomlin arrogantly replied, "There are other ways to help Ben" meaning by drafting Sweed instead of a OLman, he was still "helping" Ben. I am sorry, but this staff has not earned the right to not be questioned when it comes to their decision making regarding the OL. If the OL plays poorly again in 2013, what will you say then? I know they recently used some high picks to fix it, but if it isn't fixed they need to do more to address it, even if that would be bad news about the players drafted to fix it.

Get those big horses to start lifting some free weights, and it will help on the injury front. Ask the 49ers how free weights have helped their team win and stay healthy. Lifting with machines sucks.

The OL will be fine. I would have like to see some depth added too, but with 8 picks you can only do so much. I think Starks will be brought back and we may have added depth in the UDFA arena.

OK, but he underachieved in college too. Will that trend change or remain?

As a matter of fact, the Steelers had by far the best running game all season when Adams played guard.
But he wasn't drafted to play OG. And he wasn't just bad a "couple" of times in pass protecting; he was a turnstile. Guys were just blowing by him. IF the DE gets right to Ben immediately, we have no hope.

    Ice cream,

Give the front office and coaches a chance. Trust.
The Steeler way...is the only way.
